Austrians, like many other nations, love good food. Austrian cuisine was influenced by Czech, German, or Hungarian cooking. But it is much closer to German. Another variant of usual meal is Gulasch, which is spiced with paprika, and served with potatoes, bread or some kind of dumpling. Austria is famous for its desserts and pastries; the most well-known of them is apple strudel, which is called Apfelstrudel. Chocolate torte that’s filled with apricot jam, and covered with chocolate icing – another variant of favourite dessert. It is called Sachertorte. Austrian cuisine is very tasty and nutritious.
